委员会概况

​社会情感学习和学校氛围委员会将与家庭分享有关当前 SEL 学校实践和举措以及如何支持学生的社交和情感成长的资源。此外，我们将监测能源部关于学校氛围的报告，并为家庭提供一个论坛，讨论任何 SEL 或学校氛围问题和/或有关学校环境的需求，特别是在大流行后的挑战和当前世界创伤的背景下。将有机会向该领域的专家和实地从业者学习。

Committee Meeting: February 29, 2024

​The Social Emotional Learning and School Climate Committee held a meeting on February 29, 2024. The meeting was a presentation by members of the NYCDOE’s Office of Safety and Youth Development, LGBTQ+ Programs. The presentation covered NYCPS policies and city, state and federal policies that protect and affirm LGBTQ+ students, including the what/how/why of LGBTQ+ inclusive curriculum in the classroom and how to respond to push-back.
