SEL & School Climate Committee Meeting

CEC2’s Committee on SEL & School Climate will be hosting its first committee meeting on February 29th, 2024, from 6pm-7pm, via Zoom and live streaming on YouTube. The meeting will be a presentation by members of the NYCDOE’s Office of Safety and Youth Development, LGBTQ+ Programs. The presentation will cover NYCPS policies and city, state and federal policies that protect and affirm LGBTQ+ students, including the what/how/why of LGBTQ+ inclusive curriculum in the classroom and how to respond to push-back. There will be time for questions.
